This private reference site is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, authorize a release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the public office that holds the record for those services.
Where to Request Sullivan Records
The Sheriff’s Office is the starting point for an SCSO booking record or the live county roster. Ask for the public-records custodian when a current roster entry does not answer the question.

For a specific existing record, provide a full name, approximate booking date, and booking number if known. The county policy permits inspection without a fee and sets copy, labor, and delivery charges when they apply.
- Use the home page for the official roster, booking-record request path, and the distinction between a recent arrest and current custody.
- Call SCSO or the appropriate court clerk for a warrant question; Most Wanted explains why no confirmed public county warrant portal is listed.
- For a city incident or arrest report, contact Kingsport Police records, Bristol Records Division, or Bluff City’s town recorder as the arresting agency requires.
- For a Sullivan criminal case or disposition, use the Sullivan County Circuit Court Clerk and the case’s correct venue.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Tennessee Department of Correction offender search; it is separate from the county jail roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator, as applicable.
